HBO’s The Gilded Age / Local USA 829 Costume Department Training

In partnership with the I.A.T.S.E. Local USA 829, and supported by funding through Empire State Development’s Entertainment Workforce Diversity grant program, Warner Bros. Discovery is hosting an intensive training program to prepare New Yorkers with the essential skills needed to work successfully on set as an Assistant Costume Designer.
What does it cost?
There is no fee for this program. Each trainee is paid to participate.
Who should apply?
At least 21+ years of age
Not currently enrolled in full-time education
Eligible to work in the U.S.
Able to provide proof of residency in New York State
Live in New York State within 2 hour commuting distance of NYC or Troy, NY
Some knowledge of the Costume Department
Some knowledge of fashion & design/history of fashion & design
A strong interest in the costume department and the work of a Costume Designer
Some production experience is preferred
